Job Description:
Transportation Civil EngineerKey Role:Manage the planning,
design, construction, and maintenance of physical infrastructures.
Ensure compliance with relevant building codes and safety
regulations. Apply advanced consulting skills, extensive technical
expertise, and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative
solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction.
Mentor and supervise team members.Basic Qualifications:10+ years of
experience in a professional work environment5+ years of experience
with managing projects or performing oversight for passenger
railExperience in project planning, engineering, and construction
of a major capital projectKnowledge of freight and passenger rail
infrastructureAbility to serve in a leadership role for a project
teamAbility to review project sponsors plans and supporting
documentation to ensure that projects are being built safely on
budget, on schedule, within scope, and in conformance with
applicable regulations and guidelinesAbility to serve as a
technical resource and subject matter expert in engineering for
railroad projectsAbility to provide engineering advice, guidance,
and assistance to program offices or site managersAbility to obtain
and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination
based on client requirementsBachelor's degree in
EngineeringAdditional Qualifications:Experience with major railroad
civil infrastructure and structuresExperience with Positive Train
Control, Communications Based Train Control, Control Center
Engineering, or railroad block signal systems, and associated
communication and control systemsProfessional Engineer (P.E.)
CertificationProject Management Professional (PMP)

various factors, including but not limited to location, the
individuals particular combination of education, knowledge, skills,
competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific
affordability and organizational requirements. The projected
compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00
(annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical
salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz
Allens total compensation package for employees. This posting will
