Accounting Manager - Fairfax, Va Beacon Hill Financial has partnered with a client in Fairfax, VA looking for an Accounting Manager to join their team. This position is responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations, including managing the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and supporting month-end and year-end close processes in compliance with GAAP and company policies. A CPA and experience using Deltek Costpoint is highly preferred for this role. If interested, please do not hesitate to submit your most up to date resume. Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger management, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic planning and reporting Maintain internal controls and accounting procedures to ensure accuracy and safeguard company assets Collaborate with program managers and contract administrators to ensure accurate billing, cost tracking, and project profitability Coordinate and support internal and external audits, including preparation of audit schedules and responding to auditor inquiries Beacon Hill is an equal opportunity employer and individuals with disabilities and/or protected veterans are encouraged to apply.
