Job Description Job Description Tax Senior Tax Senior Position Overview The Tax Senior will be responsible for providing comprehensive tax services to individual and corporate clients. This role involves ensuring compliance with IRS regulations, managing tax planning strategies, and leading tax audits, while also mentoring junior staff and enhancing client relationships. Key Responsibilities - Prepare and review individual and corporate tax returns - Ensure compliance with IRS regulations and tax laws - Conduct tax planning and develop strategies to minimize tax liabilities - Assist with tax audits and respond to IRS inquiries - Analyze financial statements and client data to identify tax planning opportunities - Manage a portfolio of clients and maintain strong client relationships - Mentor and train junior staff on tax procedures and software usage - Research and stay updated on tax regulations and industry trends Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field - CPA or equivalent certification preferred - Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in tax preparation and planning - Strong knowledge of IRS regulations and tax software - Proficient in accounting principles and financial statements - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently - For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
