Overview of the role We are seeking a full-time Staff Accountant who will be responsible for a broad range of accounting functions. This is a newly created position within the firm and this individual will work most closely with a Senior Accountant and report to the CFO. Candidates should be flexible, motivated, have great communication skills, be proficient in Microsoft excel, and be able to work in a fast paced environment. You must be familiar with government contract accounting and preferably have experience using Deltek Costpoint. The projected hiring salary range for this position is $65,000 - $75,000/year, depending upon education and prior work experience. About the team Intelligent Automation, Inc. Responsibilities • Assisting Accounts Payable, entering vouchers into the accounting system, acting as Accounts Payable backup • Assisting Billing and Accounts Receivable, acting as Billing backup • Coordinating purchases of various products and services for all departments of the company • Oversight and management of our corporate credit cards, including entering monthly credit card purchases into our accounting system • Responsibility for all Purchase Orders and their compliance • Creating and implementing a Purchasing policy that is compliant with government regulations • Documenting and creating purchasing procedures with the potential of implementing the use of our current accounting system (Deltek Costpoint) • Coding all purchases to the proper GL account / Project number Education & Experience • A bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance (or a relevant field) • A minimum of at least 2 years’ experience in an accounting/purchasing role (or an equivalent combination of experience and education) About the company Intelligent Automation, Inc.
