Job Description Job Description In this position, the Assistant
Project Manager (APM) will be responsible for all supporting
activities related to the project including but not limited to
contract administration, change orders, submittals and procurement.
The APM is accountable for project meetings, working closely with
project teams, providing general administrative and technical
support for the project, maintaining all project records and
monitoring correspondence, as well as managing the close out of a
project. The APM fosters successful relationships through direct
interaction with peers and others and partners with management to
build a collaborative working environment while promoting teamwork,
exercising good judgment and professionalism. QUALIFICATIONS •
Undergraduate degree required in Engineering, Construction
Management, or similar field. Graduate degree in engineering or
business a plus. • 3-4 years construction experience required;
working for a general contractor on large scale construction highly
preferred. DBIA and LEED Accreditation a plus. • Experience
managing projects successfully from start to finish. • Skilled at
negotiating and developing relationships with owners and
subcontractors. • Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast
paced environment. • Passion for the work and industry a must.
