Professional staff encourages each child to creatively express him or herself through developmentally appropriate activities. Responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to: - Create an enriching classroom experience with organized curriculum activities - Maintain classroom order and routine as well as developmentally appropriate weekly lesson plans - Working knowledge of the practices and principles of early childhood education - Good organization and time management skills - Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing - Work as part of a team with good interpersonal skills - Professional work ethic including understanding and exercising confidentiality QUALIFICATIONS: - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Strong interpersonal skills - Friendly and approachable demeanor - Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills - Maintain a professional appearance, attitude, and work ethic at all times. - Must be flexible in scheduling.
