Job Description:
Capgemini Government Solutions (CGS) LLC is seeking a highly
motivated and experienced Proposal Writer to join our team to
support our government clients. The successful applicant will craft
high-quality, compliant proposal content that meet client
requirements while working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. As
the chosen candidate, you will have the chance to expand your
skills while working alongside a motivated and entrepreneurial
team. You will engage with diverse collaborators, customers, and
partners, contributing to the development of CGS' service
capabilities. Job Responsibilities: As a Proposal Writer, you will
apply your familiarity responding to Federal Government
solicitations to: Write and edit to tailor and develop cohesive
proposal content, ensuring clarity and compliance with RFP
requirements. Serve as Book Boss Lead for proposal content
development across technical, management, resume, and past
performance sections or volumes. Collaborate with leadership,
solution architects, and project managers to develop technical,
management, and past performance volumes. Conduct research and work
with subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop compelling proposals
that reflect the company’s solutions and win strategy. Participate
in proposal color team reviews, incorporating and resolving
feedback for proposal quality and compliance. Ensure proposal
content align with federal government standards and formatting
instructions. Support proposal planning and strategy sessions,
maintaining proposal materials and templates. Strong writing,
research, and communication skills to provide proposal volume
copyediting for compliance, active, and one-voice. Required
Qualifications: U.S. Citizenship is required. Eligible to acquire
and uphold Government Security Clearance. Bachelor’s degree or
equivalent experience. 4 years of experience in proposal writing,
to include developing proposals for IDIQs, GWACs, and related task
order responses. Proposal writing experience including technical
writing for Defense, Civilian, and Financial federal agencies.
Proficiency in proposal development tools (e.g., Microsoft Office,
SharePoint, Adobe). Excellent time management skills with the
ability to meet all established deadlines in support of multiple
ongoing proposals. Desired Qualifications: APMP Certification or
experience with Shipley business and proposal development
methodology/best practices. Collaborate with business development,
capture, and technical teams to highlight win themes and
differentiators on multi-faceted proposals that may include oral
presentations and scripting. Ability to manage RFI and task order

role. The base salary range for the tagged location is 85K - 100K.
This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable
compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are
eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance,
401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees. Note: No
amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such
amount is earned, vested, and determinable. The amount and
availability of any bonus, commission, or any other form of
