Singapore-based ST Engineering - becoming a part of its global
network of aerospace facilities and offices. With the ownership

Role Summary Purpose:In this role, you will be asked to support the
daily operation of automation equipment that is used in the
production of Nacelles and Aerostructure components. You will also
assist with the integration of new technological innovations for
manufacturing, assembly, and component handling. Essential
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement improvements to new and existing
automation in the Machine Shop, Composite Shop, and Mechanical
assembly areas.
- Define and develop maintenance programs, critical Spares list
and end user documentation.
- Work with a team to manage equipment purchase and
installation
- Participate in meetings with other team members and hourly
associates
- Design, Model, and create drawings that will be used for tools,
gauges, and shop aids.
- Ability to work in a team atmosphere to trouble shoot and
maintain CNC machines, and robotic systems.
- Basic knowledge of PLC's, low voltage controls, vision systems.
Electronic sensors, pneumatics, hydraulics, and robotics.
- Introduction and some hands-on experience with SIEMENS and
FANUC Controller Ladder logic.
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration capabilities.
- R&D projects for evaluation and safe integration of machine
learning, machine vision systems and automation inspection into
production area(s). RequirementsBachelor's degree in Electrical,
Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field from an
accredited university or college. Please note an associate degree
with 2+ years of work experience in programming or maintaining
Manufacturing Automation equipment or no degree and 5+ years of
work experience with programming or maintaining Manufacturing
Automation equipment can be considered in lieu of a bachelor's
degree. Desired Characteristics
- 3+ years' experience in Aerospace Assembly, Machine Shop and
Composites Manufacturing is preferred.
- Experience with CATIA Numerical Control Programming or similar
CAD/CAM software.
- Robotic Offline Programing experience.
- Mechanical or Electrical Drawing interpretation and
creation
- Continuous Improvement (5S, TPM, Quick Change, Poke-Yoke,
D.I.V.E. and VSM)
- CAD Fixture design.
- Autonomous inspections- Utilizing cutting edge and innovative
technology.
- Experience with AFP equipment.
- Experience with integration or use of Vision
