As an engineer on our team, you have the chance to shape the future
of advanced fighter aircraft programs by applying aerospace
propulsion, engine controls, and flight-critical software
knowledge. You'll have the opportunity to translate real-world
needs into technical specifications for next-generation engine
control modules and component improvements for the engine. Your
customer will trust you to not only design and develop these
systems, but also evolve them with advanced technology solutions.

broadening your skillset into areas like prognostics and health

You Have:
10+ years of experience with gas turbine engines and control
systems
5+ years of experience in flight-critical software development
5+ years of experience in systems integration on 5th gen fighter
aircraft
Experience using MATLAB to perform engineering analyses
Knowledge of DoD acquisition processes and system engineering
practices
Ability to think, plan, and work at both tactical and strategic
levels independently
Ability to lead a small team of engineers
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in Aeronautics Engineering, Mechanical
Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
Nice If You Have:
Experience with model-based system engineering
Experience with Amazon AWS and Python
Experience with Earned Value Management
Possession of excellent organizational and project management
skills
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Aeronautics Engineering,
Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including
but not limited to location, the individual's particular
combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and
experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and
organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for
this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The
estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this
position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total
compensation package for employees. This posting will close within
90 days from the Posting Date.
