Description This is a temporary position. JOB SUMMARY Perform various z/OS systems programming tasks. JOB TITLE Senior Systems Engineer – z/OS CANDIDATE PROFILE Required Experience: 10 years performing general z/OS systems programming 5 years performing installation, maintenance, configuration and support of a wide range of IBM, Broadcom, BMC, and other ISV products 3 years mainframe hardware configuration and network configuration/management 3 years z/OSMF customization and usage. Desired Experience: Coupling Facility, SYSPLEX, and Structures Performance monitoring and tuning Storage (DASD and virtual tape) management Assembler and REXX programing. Other Requirements: Inclusion in the on-call rotation to provide after-hours support Perform analysis of the current environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement Update and create system documentation as necessary.
