Job Description:
General Purpose:To effectively manage operations to achieve
financial goals. - To effectively manage the recruiting and
scheduling of staffing professionals or staff designated with this
responsibility (staffing coordinator). - To maintain and expand
customer base through direct sales and or effective management of
sales representative. -Essential Functions:
- Manages recruitment and sales functions to achieve business
goals. -
- Trains, supervises and coaches staff to meet or exceed defined
quality and performance standards.
- Maintains knowledge of current regulations for health care
staffing.
- Ensures continuous recruiting sources and availability of
staffing professionals and clients.
- Assists in recruitment of staffing professionals. - Discusses
policies and procedures with the providers and answers questions as
needed. -
- Manages applicants credentialing (using established guidelines
for a Credentialing Verification Organization (CVO)) and reference
check processes.
- Promotes and environment of high morale and teamwork.
- Presents appropriate motivators, rewards, recognition and
benefits for staffing professionals. -
- Takes appropriate and timely measures to meet the needs of the
staffing employees and clients. -
- Identifies and resolves situations and problems taking action,
within authority limits, to prevent reoccurrence of any negative
issues. -
- Maintains mature problem solving approach under stressful
circumstances.
- Performs staff functions as necessary.
- Retains flexible schedules in order to service client and
staffing employees requests and/or handle complaints.
- Participates in various internal and external activities
focused on increasing sales and recruitment; i.e. conventions,
seminars and job fairs.
- Ensures and assists in the development of recruitment
strategies.
- Analyzes and evaluates activities and processes. - Proposes
changes and new methods and programs to ensure attainment of
goals.
- Works to achieve pre-established goals (i.e. sales targets,
hours growth, gross margin targets.).
- Ensures pricing profitability, expense prudence and budget
adherence.
- Completes other assignments as requested and assigned. -
- May have access to personal health information ("PHI")
necessary to fulfill the above duties and responsibilities. -
Access to use and ability to disclose PHI is further defined by
each organization/department.Minimum Education & Experience
Requirements:
- Four (4) year college degree in Business, Marketing or related
discipline, or an equivalent, combination of education and
experience.
- Three (3) years to five (5) years staffing management
experience, preferably in the health care industry or commercial
staffing industry.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required: -
- Demonstrated excellent analytical, negotiating and problem
solving skills.
- Demonstrated excellent organizational and detail skills.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with all levels of
the organization.
- Computer proficiency to include current business software
programs.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects under
short deadlines, changing and conflicting priorities with minimum
resources.
- Demonstrated credentialing and referencing skills.
- Demonstrated successful interviewing and selection skills
including recruiting and interviewing by phone.
- Experience managing professional and paraprofessional employees
within the past five (5) years.
- Demonstrated successful customer service skills.Working
Conditions & Physical Effort: -
- Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work
environment.
- Ability to spend varying amounts of time sitting, standing,
walking, stooping, stretching and reaching.
- Light physical activity is required for occasional lifting,
carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 10 lbs.
- Ability to travel as needed.
