Locums Cardiothoracic Surgery PA Clinic Call Atlantic City, NJ Why This Role Join a dynamic cardiothoracic surgery team providing critical inpatient and surgical support. Perform advanced cardiovascular procedures with a collaborative, high-acuity team. Immediate start opportunity for experienced PAs with strong OR and EVH skills. Assignment Details Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Call Setting: Inpatient / Hospital-based Dates: ASAP - Ongoing Schedule: - Weekdays: Monday-Friday, 8-10 hour shifts in-house - Night Call: 6p-6a - Weekend Call: Friday 6p-Monday 6a, includes rounding 7a-12p Sat/Sun Average Volume: 2 OR cases/day; 5-12 patient rounds including ICU and floor Call: Required (weekday, weekend, and nights) EMR: Cerner Credentialing: 60 days Clinical Details Retrieval of vascular tissues for bypass conduit Endoscopic vein harvesting (EVH) Chest tube insertions First assist in cardiac surgery Rounding and coordination of care Ordering/interpreting tests and prescribing Suture removal Requirements NCCPA Certified Physician Assistant Active New Jersey License and CSR - Required Minimum 2-3 years of cardiothoracic surgery experience Proficiency in EVH and first assist required Experience with Cerner EMR - Preferred Compensation Rates: Facility is accepting bids Malpractice: Included Travel: Reimbursed
