MedStar Health, a pioneer in patient-first medical services in the D.C.-Maryland-Virginia area, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated RN Homecare Clinician PV to join our team. This position offers a unique opportunity to bring advanced clinical care directly to patients' homes, enhancing their recovery and well-being. As part of our homecare team, the clinician will be responsible for assessing patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing nursing care plans, and maintaining medical records. Our ideal candidate will have a robust knowledge of nursing and home health care with a strong emphasis on patient safety and satisfaction. Conduct patient assessments including physical exams and medical histories. Develop and execute individualized patient care plans based on assessments. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior. Educate patients and their families on disease prevention and home health care procedures. Ensure strict compliance with all relevant healthcare laws and regulations. Strong patient assessment skills Ability to manage home healthcare technologies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities Time management and organizational skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland, Virginia, or Washington D.C. CPR certified Driver's license and reliable transportation
