Registered Nurse (RN) | Labor & Delivery Location: Brooklyn, MD Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,182 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/10/2026 About the Position Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 3 years (will accept 2 years if experience is solid) License: Current state license required Certifications: BLS, NRP, C-EFM, STABLE required; ACLS preferred Must-Have: Scrub experience required C-EFM NCC certification and STABLE required at the time of submission Required to scrub as backup as needed Ability to float to mother/baby and scrub Description: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse with expertise in managing maternal and neonatal care. Must have recent scrub experience and be able to assist in C-sections as needed. BLS, NRP, C-EFM, and STABLE certifications are mandatory. ACLS is preferred but not required. A minimum of three years of experience is required, with consideration for two years if experience is exceptional. This role involves participation in on-call rotations and coverage for weekend shifts. The labor and delivery unit sees a diverse patient population including high-risk antepartum cases. Daily responsibilities include performing various assessments, managing labor, and assisting in deliveries. Knowledge of fetal monitoring and maternal care protocols is essential. Experience with high-risk deliveries, postpartum care, and newborn assessment is crucial. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong clinical judgment and teamwork skills. An ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with patients and families is important. Willingness to adapt to changing situations and collaborate across disciplines is necessary.
