Doctor of Medicine | Gastroenterology Location: Atlantic City, NJ Employer: Lancesoft Inc Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position An established, nationally recognized health system in southeastern New Jersey is seeking an experienced, board-certified Gastroenterologist to serve as Chief of Gastroenterology . This is a high-impact physician leadership role focused on building and leading a premier academic GI division aligned with a long-term transformational growth strategy. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and lead a comprehensive academic Gastroenterology division Expand advanced GI services including complex endoscopy, inpatient and outpatient GI care Recruit, mentor, and inspire GI hospitalists, faculty, fellows, and multidisciplinary staff Provide hands-on clinical leadership managing complex GI cases Collaborate across specialties, including oncology and advanced subspecialty services Ensure strong referral pipelines and protected endoscopic block time Promote research, education, and workforce development initiatives Improve access to care and address disparities within underserved communities Requirements Board Certified in Gastroenterology (no lapsed certification) Active and unrestricted New Jersey medical license (or willing to obtain) BLS & ACLS (AHA) DEA and CSR/CDS NPDB Self-Query (within 30 days at presentation) Malpractice history disclosure (case-by-case consideration permitted) COVID & Flu vaccination compliance Benefits ??
