Job Description:

D.C.-Maryland-Virginia region, as an Emergency Vehicle Operator/MS
Transport EMT Driver. This role is crucial for the efficient
transportation of patients requiring medical attention. Operating
with professionalism and care, you will be responsible for the safe
and timely transport of patients, ensuring the highest standards of
safety and patient care are maintained at all times. This position
demands excellent driving skills, a deep understanding of health
and safety protocols, and the ability to respond calmly under
pressure. Safely transport patients to and from medical facilities
and their homes using emergency vehicles. Maintain communication
with the central dispatch unit to receive and respond to calls
promptly. Conduct regular vehicle maintenance checks and ensure all
equipment is in working order. Adhere to all traffic and safety
regulations. Manage patient care during transport while maintaining
privacy and comfort. Maintain accurate records of transport
details, patient conditions, and maintenance procedures.
Participate in emergency response drills and continued education to
improve response effectiveness. Professional driving skills and
knowledge of road safety regulations. Basic technical knowledge of
emergency vehicle operation and maintenance. Strong interpersonal
and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and make
decisions in emergency situations. Experience with medical
equipment and terminology preferred. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid state
EMT-Basic (or higher) certification. Valid state driver’s license
with a clean driving record. CPR certified.
