TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified
ICU/Critical Care RN in Baltimore, Maryland, 21218! ICU RN
Registered Nurse ICU 13 Weeks Night 12 Hours 2 Years of Experience
Required Active License Required ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Required
Description: ICU RN position available for an immediate start.
Candidates must successfully pass the EKG Rhythm Interpretation
Exam. A minimum overall score of 80% is required, with a 100% score
on lethal rhythms. The shift is 3x12 hours from 19:00 to 07:00.
Surgical ICU experience is required. First-time travelers are
accepted. Floating to other areas is required. Every third weekend
is required. The patient ratio experience is 2-3. Additional skills
needed include thermoregulation, managing coronary artery bypass
grafts, and interpreting dysrhythmias. Experience with continuous
IV sedation and management of patients with multisystem organ
dysfunction/failure is essential. Successful candidates will work
with interdisciplinary support teams, including physical therapy
and respiratory services. Patient diagnoses include acute MI,
respiratory failure, and cardiac arrest. Special procedures
performed in the unit may include TPA administration and continuous
renal replacement therapy. Advanced equipment knowledge, such as
Flotrac monitoring and external transvenous pacers, is preferred.
Candidates are required to adhere to infection prevention protocols
