Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Neuro Critical Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating 7A/7P Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years in Neuro Critical Care License: RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS preferred, Critical Care Certification preferred Must-Have: - Experience in Neuro Critical Care - EPIC experience Description: The Neuro Critical Care Unit provides specialized care for patients with severe brain injuries, strokes, or brain tumors. Many patients are post-operative following neurosurgical procedures. The unit focuses on the care of neurologically complex patients requiring interface between the brain and other vital organ systems. Care providers must possess skills in critical care and neurological assessments. Flexibility to float to areas with similar skill sets is required. Weekend shifts include 3 of 6 weekends, with an on-call requirement of 2 shifts within a 6-week schedule.
