Join a traveling Physical Therapist opportunity in Sterling, VA at
a skilled nursing facility where you will help patients recover
from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life

more details. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's, Master's, or
Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
approved by the APTA. Active Virginia Physical Therapy license
required to start the assignment. BLS certification from AHA or ARC
may be required. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a skilled
nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred. Experience
providing restorative and skilled therapy services, including
transfers, gait training, and therapeutic exercise, preferred.
Ability to provide documentation in electronic medical records and
collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. Client requires
availability for a 32-hour per week schedule, working 4 days per
week (4x8) as part of the assignment guarantee. Preferred: prior
travel therapy experience and competency treating post-operative
orthopedic and medically complex patients. Assignment Details
Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility. Shift Name: Days. Work
Schedule: 4 days per week, 8-hour shifts (4x8). Weekly Guarantee:
32 hours per week guarantee. Assignment Length: 13-week assignment.
Floating: Candidate may be required to float to other facilities
within the client network as needed. Location Highlights. Sterling,

northwest of Washington, D.C., and 10 miles from Dulles
International Airport, providing frequent flight options and
commuter connections. The area is near Algonkian Regional Park on
the Potomac River, about a 15–20 minute drive, offering paved
trails, boating access, and scenic riverfront views. Great Falls
Park on the Potomac is roughly 25 minutes away, providing hiking,
rock outcrops, and waterfall overlooks for outdoor recreation. The
Dulles Technology Corridor and Reston Town Center are within a
15–25 minute commute, offering dining, retail, and cultural events.
