highly respected, in-home care agency, serving Northern VA. - We
are urgently seeking a caring, energetic and compassionate
individual for an immediate weekend opening in Leesburg, VA,
providing exceptional Personal Care and Companion Care. If you meet
the following requirements, please respond at your earliest ·
Reliable, Patient, Punctual and Honest · Manage well in English ·
Own reliable transportation · Flexible with a positive 'can do'
attitude · Able to recognize changes in their clients and alert
proper personnel when necessary Major Responsibilities: ·
Activities of daily living (ADL) in a safe and beneficial manner ·
Meal prep and light housekeeping · Errands, transportation and
companionship Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: · Must meet
hiring criteria as defined in the agency’s minimum standards · Must
be able to function with minimal supervision, accepting personal
responsibility for maintaining a professional relationship with the
client · Must accept responsibility for maintaining skills and
learning on an ongoing basis, as well as honoring agency policies ·
Must have experience managing people with Parkinson’s and/or
serious health issues but caregivers do not administer medication
or perform any procedures requiring the knowledge or skills of a
licensed nurse or registered therapist · Must pass all background
checks and drug screening with satisfactory results. · Effective
communication skills preferred. License/Certification: · CNA
(preferred) Schedule: · Multiple days a week Benefits: · Frequent
