Physical Therapy Assistant Location: Lanham, MD Agency: Ambition 24Hours Pay: $1,933 per week Shift Information: Rotating - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/6/2026 About the Position Travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Location: Lanham, MD (20706) Shift: Day Shift | 08:00 AM 04:30 PM Schedule: Contract (14 Weeks) Compensation $39.00 $45.50/hr Overview We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support patient rehabilitation by assisting in the delivery of therapy programs designed to improve mobility and function. Key Responsibilities Assist Physical Therapists in implementing treatment plans Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and mobility activities Monitor patient progress and report changes Educate patients on exercises and recovery techniques Maintain accurate documentation Collaborate with the healthcare team Requirements Active PTA license (state of practice) Current BLS certification preferred Previous rehab or clinical experience preferred Strong communication and patient care skills Additional Details 14-week contract 35 hours guaranteed per week Monday Friday schedule Must bring valid government-issued ID Must meet all facility compliance requirements
