• Great PTO planJob DetailsJob Details:Our firm is seeking a dynamic and experienced Elder Law Attorney to join our team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for elder law and a proven track record of fighting for the rights and dignity of the elderly. This role will involve working on a range of elder law issues, including elder abuse and elder abuse litigation. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of our elderly clients, advocating for their rights, and ensuring their protection and well-being.Responsibilities:1. Provide comprehensive legal counsel and representation to elderly clients on a range of issues, including elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation, estate planning, healthcare, retirement, guardianship, and more.2. Conduct thorough case assessments to determine the best course of action for each client, taking into consideration their unique needs and circumstances.3. Develop and implement effective litigation strategies for elder abuse cases, representing clients in court when necessary.4. Work collaboratively with other members of our legal team, as well as with external parties such as healthcare providers, social workers, and law enforcement officials, to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.5. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in elder law, attending relevant seminars, workshops, and training sessions as necessary.6. Educate clients, their families, and the community about elder law issues, helping to raise awareness and promote understanding.Qualifications:1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.2. Admission to the State Bar.3. A minimum of 3 years of experience in elder law, with a particular focus on elder abuse and elder abuse litigation.4. Excellent litigation skills, with a proven track record of success in the courtroom.5. Strong knowledge of the laws, regulations, and resources related to elder law.6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, their families, and other stakeholders.7. A deep commitment to advocating for the rights and dignity of the elderly.8.
