Job Description Job Description Job Title: Material Handler Forklift Job Description The Material Handler I will oversee and coordinate material and warehouse activities in accordance with established procedures. This role encompasses various areas such as shipping, receiving, warehouse management, and packing. The position operates on the 1st shift from Monday to Friday, 6 am to 2:30 pm, with potential flexibility in start and end times. Responsibilities Receive goods on purchase orders to maintain system information and ensure accurate inventories. Process paperwork and transactions to update required computer tracking systems. Operate and maintain material handling equipment and scales to assist in loading, unloading, and moving materials and products. Control and maintain storage locations to best utilize warehouse capacity. Ensure timely processing of orders, reports, and related requests. Manage materials effectively and efficiently. Coordinate customer returns between Customer Service and Teardown departments. Pick, pack, and prepare paperwork, updating computer systems on all subcontracted parts; work closely with PIC, Customer Service, Purchasing, and suppliers on deliveries, pick-ups, and receiving information. Maintain a proper level of housekeeping within the department. Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills Experience with packing, shipping, processing, assembly, quality control, measuring, receiving, inventory management, and forklift operation. Mechanical aptitude. High school diploma or GED required. Prior shipping and material handling experience. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Reamstown, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
