Job Description Job Description Full-Time | Northern Virginia Five Star Septic is seeking an experienced Fleet Manager to oversee and maintain our growing fleet of pump trucks, service vehicles, and heavy equipment. This role is responsible for ensuring all vehicles are safe, compliant, efficient, and job-ready at all times. Responsibilities: - Oversee maintenance and repair schedules for all fleet vehicles - Coordinate with mechanics and vendors for repairs and inspections - Ensure DOT compliance, inspections, and vehicle registrations - Monitor fuel usage, GPS tracking, and driver performance - Manage equipment readiness for daily dispatch - Track maintenance records and control fleet-related costs - Implement preventative maintenance programs Requirements: - Experience managing commercial fleets (construction, septic, or heavy equipment preferred) - Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards - Mechanical understanding of diesel trucks and equipment - Highly organized and detail-oriented - Strong leadership and communication skills Competitive pay growth opportunities available.
