This position reports directly to the Rapid Solutions, Senior Security Manager in Herndon, VA. The candidate will manage all security functions associated with the Severn facility as well as function as a key contributor to the overarching security functions of Rapid Solutions. Specifically, coordinate and perform security tasks to ensure compliance and contractual, program and security requirements are executed in a timely manner. This includes participating in the administration and coordination of one or more security programs/activities to ensure compliance with government and company security policies and procedures, conducting security briefings and maintaining security education programs. Managing all day-to-day activities at the Maryland facility to include oversight of the accredited spaces and other office spaces. Additionally, strong partnership with various government agencies ensuring corporation is compliant with directives and regulations and obtains rulings, interpretations, and deviations, as appropriate. The FSO is responsible for ensuring Rapid Solutions and all cleared employees are compliant with the National Industrial Security Program, Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency, JAFAN 6/0, as well as Intelligence Community Directives and Program Guidance (ICDs and ICPGs). The FSO/CPSO will manage, oversee, and provide expert opinion and actions on matters concerning national security compliance as it relates to the NISPOM, DCSA and other government agencies. Manage all roles and responsibilities of the FSO regarding the management of multiple accredited SCIFs and Closed Areas. Strong program security experience with multiple customers is required to understand the complexities of each customer and their unique clearance processing protocols. Duties: Complete required data reports for both customers & internal personnel as required. Maintain security database, internal database and JPAS/DISS maintenance/ management when needed. Ensure facility is compliant with all DCSA/CAF, and other government customer requirements. Develop policies and procedures as it pertains to the NISP; conducts NISP briefings. Develop Standard Operating Procedures and perform duties pertaining to government customer requirements. Communicate effectively with the Senior Security Manager, Security Team and Program Management. Administer and Assist with DD254 requests and tracking for prime and sub-contractor companies. Perform other duties as assigned. Perform all related duties associated with managing and maintaining accredited space(s). Strong understanding of access control and alarm system response; issuance and controlling of badges and credentials. Conduct and prepare Self-Inspection reports in accordance with government criteria. Conduct investigations into security incidents/violations; ensure corrective action(s) is initiated and violations are reported. Here's What You'll Need: Seven (7) or more years of relevant security experience as well as, three (3) to five (5) years in leadership and program management delivering and supporting internal and external customers. Active TS/SCI with Polygraph. Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, growth-focused environment. Ability to effectively engage prospective customers, within both the DOD and Intelligence Community, to build trust and relationships, clearly communicate solutions and concepts, and influence action. Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across the organization. Must be detailed-oriented and organized. Highly motivated and self-directed with a passion for solving complex problems. Must demonstrate effective time management and be able to work independently. Must be able to complete tasks in a timely manner and meet deadlines. Previous security experience managing a classified program in support of the Intelligence Community. Must have the ability to carry out the duties expected of a Security Officer when faced with difficulty and coordinate with all levels of personnel/management. Requires independent judgement and discretion as well as the identification, analysis, and resolution of security related matters. Must be able to manage risk associated with security compliance and operational requirements. Must be able to work effectively with other employees and interact effectively with diverse groups of people. Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality with integrity. Experience in managing and maintain FCL and requirements association with facility accreditation; ICD 705/ICS 705 and respective. Be able to pick up additional duties as required; be an active member of the security team. Ability to cope well with pressure and make sound decisions in uncertain situations. Strong people leadership. Be a self-starter who is accountable and requires minimal direction and supervision; a person who is open to new ideas.
