Job Description:
The Material Control Associate is responsible for supporting the
overall GMP materials control/warehousing operations for a Phase
II/II GMP biopharma manufacturing facility. The position requires
practical experience and knowledge of a variety of activities such
as materials receipt/quarantine/release, logistical support in a
manufacturing facility, electronic inventory control and
distribution/shipping of products.Catalent is a global,

- Process accurate direct material inventory (raw materials, in
process, finished goods) and stock of indirect materials.
- Process acceptance, physical count(s), description information,
and integrity of labels and documentation for inventory goods per
SOP.
- Timely issuance of materials to operations for use on
manufacturing. Also ensure timely return and reconciliation of all
goods and materials from manufacturing.
- Process accurate reconciliation of materials within inventory
and ready for use in manufacturing.
- Compliant storage and handling of solvents rejected materials,
materials on hold as well as processing of all materials to be
returned or destroyed in compliance with site SOPs.
- Perform transactions in JDE as required (including receipts,
adjustments, transfers, shipments) or whatever Inventory Software
in use
- Perform timely cycle counts as requiredThe candidate:
- Requires High School Diploma / GED with at least two year of
experience warehouse experience.
- Shipping and Receiving experience
- GMP experience preferred
