Mechanical Engineer, Senior The Opportunity:As a facilities
manager, you understand that relationship-building and keen
attention to detail are crucial when overseeing the life cycle of a
project. As an experienced facilities professional at Booz Allen,
you can use your client engagement skills to impact projects that
will support National Security. We need someone like you who is
eager to work on complex projects that will protect some of our
most critical national assets.On our team, you'll manage
challenging projects for sensitive missions from beginning to end
while collaborating with senior leadership. Using computer-related
facilities management software and your problem-solving skills,
you'll oversee a team to develop creative solutions for
mission-critical projects in National Security.In this role, you'll
closely impact National Security by managing and developing
strategies specific to critical infrastructure. With mentoring,
exposure to challenging projects, and opportunities to learn new
tools and skills, we focus on growing as a team to make the best
solutions for our customers.Work with us as we facilitate projects
that impact National Security for the better.What You'll Work
On:Analyze, formulate, and recommend facility standards and design
and space criteria and usage through space utilization studies and
forecasts for clients in National Security.Lead analyses and
solution development for facility planning and management for
critical infrastructure.Perform complex activities as related to
the control and management of cost, schedule, risk, and resource
optimization.Prepare or review facilities estimates and site
proposals for client review as to cost and feasibility.Advise
National Security clients in developing plans and programs
responsive to present and anticipated portfolio, facility, or
individual space requirements.Recommend planning, design, and

wait.You Have:Experience with designing, engineering, and building
mechanical systemsExperience with mechanical specifications and
shop drawing reviewExperience with HVAC and plumbing engineering
and designExperience with mechanical and plumbing construction and
project managementExperience with performing quality control on
licensed mechanical engineering drawingsKnowledge of construction
quality controlAbility to travel up to 30% of the timeTS/SCI
clearance with a polygraphBachelor's degree in Mechanical
EngineeringNice If You Have:Experience with MAXIMOExperience with
new and existing building systemsExperience with site surveys and
calculationsKnowledge of the ASHRAE standards, International
Building Code, and pertinent NFPA publications related to
mechanical systemsKnowledge of the CAD systems, AutoCAD, or
REVITMaster's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Civil
EngineeringProject Management Professional (PMP) CertificationLEED
CertificationProfessional Engineer (PE) LicenseEIT

is determined by various factors, including but not limited to
location, the individual's particular combination of education,
knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as
contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to
$172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the
typical salary range for this position and is just one component of
Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting
