Position : Inside Sales Representative (Medical Device) Location : Harmons, MD Duration : 3 Month Contract to Hire ** For consideration, please send resume and professional references to brdunkle @aerotek.com ** Overview: Aerotek's client is looking for a Sales Support associate to join their medical device sales team in Harmans, MD. The company has seen a huge uptick in demand as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. They sell incubators, respirators, pumps, and other medical supplies to hospitals, doctors offices, and rehabilitation centers around the United States. Job Description: This position functions as the primary source of revenue generation for the company. The responsibility of this position is to maintain and grow a designated sales territory to reach company goals. This position reports to the Sales Manager. The major duties of the position include, but are not limited to: Calling all customers in territory once a month. Utilizing relationship selling to incorporate our products to customer needs. Monthly travel of approximately 5 days to support trade shows and field visits. Database targeting and profiling of accounts to maintain all current information ** For consideration, please send resume and professional references to brdunkle @aerotek.com ** Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred Associates degree mandatory Must have strong customer service skills Strong Communication skills - verbal and written Must be a persuasive conversationalist Be a quick learner Moderate computer skills Performance Expectations MUST MAKE 75 OUTBOUND CALLS PER DAY Meet or exceed revenue quotas Utilize sales planning, productivity and targeting tools to drive sales Complete contact to all customers in territory Profile all A, B, C, and X Acute Care Hospital Accounts Complete database profiling of accounts to improve prospect targeting Log data gathered during telesales calls into relevant fields in GoldMine Complete field visits to major metropolitan areas Full implementation of sales techniques learned as part of sales development training provided by the company Conduct office based outbound telesales calls Coordinate product / service and account focus with Sales Manager Identify prospects qualified using GoldMine based account profiling Develop relationships with customers to maximize selling through consultative sales ** For consideration, please send resume and professional references to brdunkle @aerotek.com ** Why Our Client: Our Client is a medical device company. Right now there is a total of 6 other inside sales people with one outside sales rep. Must be comfortable working and speaking on the phone. Our client is a launching pad for the career of anyone interested in getting into the Medical/Pharmaceutical Sales industry. Most sales reps stay for 2-3 years and create a rapport with their clients and connections with their co-workers. After that time, sales reps often leave to get an opportunity in medical or pharmaceutical sales paying six figures. The ideal candidate would have completed his or her bachelor's degree. He or she would have a full-time professional level position that requires some degree of skill in dealing with the public in a sales capacity over the telephone or in helping the public solve problems related to technical products. He or she would be a self-starter who can tell a convincing sales story with a desire to succeed.
