Job Description:
Waste Management, Inc., a leader in comprehensive waste and
environmental services in North America, is looking for a dedicated
WM Way Coach to join our Training & Development team. This position
focuses on promoting operational excellence and sustainable
practices across all levels of our company, following the WM Way
framework which emphasizes efficiency, safety, and sustainability
in waste management processes. As a WM Way Coach, you will be
instrumental in guiding our teams through training and development
initiatives that reinforce our commitment to leading the industry
in customer service, recycling, and renewable energy generation.
Implement the WM Way training programs across various departments
to ensure compliance and adherence to company standards. Conduct
on-site training sessions and workshops for operational staff to
promote best practices in waste management and environmental
sustainability. Monitor the effectiveness of training programs and
make adjustments as needed to improve outcomes and operational
efficiency. Collaborate with management to identify specific
training needs and develop customized programs to meet these
requirements. Support the development and integration of new
technology and practices into existing workflows, focusing on
improving efficiency and minimizing environmental impact. Provide
ongoing support and coaching to employees, helping them to achieve
certifications and advance their knowledge and skills in waste
management. Prepare and present reports on training progress and
outcomes to senior management, highlighting successes and areas for
improvement. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong leadership and coaching abilities In-depth knowledge of
waste management processes Proficiency in training methodologies
and adult learning principles Ability to handle multiple projects
and meet deadlines Comfortable working in both office settings and

and Performance (CPLP) Certified Training & Development
Professional (CTDP) or equivalent OSHAcademy Certified Safety and
Health Official, focusing on waste management or environmental
