Ob/Gyn Opening in Culpeper, VA70 miles from Washington, DCPosition Details: - Full-time, permanent opening - Employed - Seeking to employ a Board Certified Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) Physician to join an amazing team. - Join a recognized leader in OB/GYN, where your input will be valued at our practice. - Affiliated with the University of Virginia Medical Center, widely recognized for its quality of care and the Hospital in Virginia, according to U.S. News and World Report. - Providers care for women with both low- and high-risk pregnancies. The obstetrics and gynecological surgeons and maternal-fetal medicine sub-specialists work with referring physicians in the community to provide comprehensive care to women with high-risk pregnancies. When medically necessary, the practice works with affiliated medical center nearby to transfer care, where the NICU and other advanced services are available for women and babies. - Seven call shifts per month (24-hour) - Day after call there are no clinical responsibilities - 50-60 deliveries/month - Average of 24 patients a day in clinic - Blocked OR time - Access to Davinci robot - Loan repayment offered Qualifications:Candidates must possess an MD or DO, have completed an OB/GYN residency, and be board certified or an active candidate for certification by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Excellent clinical skills, a passion for delivering care in a community setting, enthusiasm for medical education, and an interest in collaborating in clinical research are encouraged.
