Job Description Job Description Shipping and Receiving Clerk- $20-21/hr 2nd shift and 3rd shift openings Job Description Join our team as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk in a dynamic battery recycling facility. Your role involves setting up and operating equipment to ensure high-quality product output and proper maintenance. You will be responsible for operating machinery, maintaining equipment, cleaning work areas, and adhering to safety protocols. Additionally, you will move finished products using forklifts and comply with environmental and safety regulations. Responsibilities Operate machinery and ensure it functions correctly. Maintain and clean equipment to ensure proper operation. Keep work areas tidy and organized. Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Move materials and products using forklifts to and from production and sorting areas. Assist with the identification, separation, and packaging of different types of batteries and their components into correct containers. Conduct quality checks on products and materials to ensure they meet quality standards. Report any defects or equipment issues to a supervisor. Essential Skills Experience in general production and machine operation. Proficiency in using hand tools. Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in construction or general labor is advantageous. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment includes operating in a battery recycling facility with shifts available from 6am-2:30pm, 2pm-10:30pm, and 10pm-6:30am. Be prepared to work Saturdays until the team is fully staffed again, working up to 48 hours a week. The role requires compliance with strict safety and environmental standards. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lancaster, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
